Headquartered in Schiedam, The Netherlands, Jumbo Offshore is a heavy lift shipping and offshore transportation/installation contractor that has been developing products and services for ocean transportation for more than 50 years. Jumbo operates a specialized fleet of heavy lift vessels that have lifting capacities ranging from 650 up to 3,000 tonnes.

Each of Jumbo’s four flagships is a J1800-Class vessel. At 13,000 dwt, each vessel has 1,800 tons of lifting capacity, delivered by two 900-ton mast cranes. A large, flat working deck (100m x 26m) and a spacious, adjustable cargo hold make each vessel suitable for any project cargo. Each vessel has a flush working deck and an adjustable tween deck. Some are permitted to sail with open hatches, giving them optimal flexibility and other stowage possibilities. The vessels have shallow draft, so they can work in almost any port in the world. In addition to providing sea transport, Jumbo is responsible for the pre- and on-carriage of the cargo. To support those operations, Jumbo’s fleet contains flat-top offshore barges.
